This is a really challenging subject for me. I like to write but, in this subject I realise that there are format and ways to write an essay such as, how to write an introductory paragraph. During the secondary school, I just wrote anything for the essay because we didn't learn any techniques for English essay. Besides, I often write only narrative essay however, in this subject, we only learn factual essay (process and opinion based essay), so it's difficult for me.
Gladly, Miss Alea really guide us through every steps and she explains everything thoroughly. We need to do group exercises and she will check our answers during classes. She will give comments and suggestions to improve our writing. Miss Alea is also fun to talk with! It feels like we are talking to someone in our age because she is so relatable.
For the assignment, we need to do an opinion-based essay based on the respondents answer from our survey.
I didn't know my writing marks for mid-term exam, but I will still do my best to improve and get excellent marks in the final!

This is the survey that I created for the opinion-based essay assignment. I chose the literature topic and how it can broaden the view of younger generation. I believe that literature subject should continue to be taught at schools.
