1st semester
Listening and speaking subject has the most fun class. I think it is because we need to communicate a lot. Sir Irwan will chat with us during the class, asking how are we doing and joke with us too. A lot of funny incident happen during the class.
Moreover, this is the only subject that has face-to-face class. We did MUET Speaking practice, listening test and learn phonemic chart. This subject really helps me to speak confidently and spontaneous. The phonetics are confusing. Every time we do exercises during classes, I rarely get it right for most of the words. It is not easy to transcribe them.
For the assignment, we need to do a demonstrative speech. Each of us need to choose three topics that we are willing to do and, Sir will approve one that is appropriate, considering the time limits and rules.
For the mid-term exam, I did quite well, but I think it is because there weren't any transcribing questions. I will do a lot of practice and improve in final.

This is one of the practice that Sir Irwan gave us. We need to transcribe our classmates name by referring to the phonetics chart. It sounds funny to be pronounced because there's a lot of mistake.
One of MUET practice to help us elaborate our ideas with explanations and examples. In class, Sir already divided us into a group of four for practice. I can feel that I have improved from time to time after practicing.
This is the example of the outline for the demonstrative speech. I chose to cook a pizza toast because it is easy and simple. I feel satisfied because I can do the video and eat the pizza after that.
